State of WI News
•  July 2009 Security Newsletter
Hello everyone.

Attached is the July monthly security newsletter discussing Cybercrime.  The complexity of cyber security threats continues to increase.  I am sending these out in an effort to raise security awareness and help get the message out to practice safe computing both at work and at home with family.  I strongly encourage you to take a quick look at the newsletter.

This month's tip is titled "Cybercrime" and discusses what is cybercrime, what are the trends and what you can do about it.  In addition, there are also useful resources included at the end of this Newsletter to provide additional advice, guidance and protection.  These tips are created by the MS-ISAC (organization of state CISO's that meet monthly to discuss cyber terrorism) and US-CERT (National Cyber Security Division of Homeland Security).

Please feel free to share this with your family and friends.
