SPRING ANNUAL CONFERENCE - May 2008!

What does New Hampshire have over us – primaries, caucuses—GIPAW will be having the annual conference in May!  Reserve the dates of May 14-16 and meet us at Fox Hills Resort in Mishicot.  The change was based on member preferences that favored the earlier show.  May should allow for new information to be applied to budgets sooner.  If you’re still reading this message, you must already know how valuable GIPAW membership is, or be a curious prospective member.  To the current members, thank you and welcome to another year of reducing your workload and augmenting the fun.  To the forthcoming members, who needs to decide on a party—come to GIPAW’s in May!  If you’re curious enough to continue reading, you must be looking for answers to something.  GIPAW members can help! 

There will be a general membership meeting (Waupaca Caucus) in September.  Mark your calendars for the 17th and 18th and gather at the Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel in Waupaca.  Since this is a transition year for the annual conference, we will be having just one general membership meeting—but the agenda will be packed.  The GIPAW Board of Directors will have monthly meetings until the spring conference in order to solidify the topics to be covered during the general meeting. 

The GIPAW website continues to be the site to hit for what’s happening with this organization.  The listserv is also a great resource to get some of those answers we are all looking for—if you’re faced with it, someone in GIPAW will have relevant advice.  Give it a try at www.gipaw.org!
